A multilingual helpline for people in Dresden & East Saxony

The Helpline Dresden & Ostsachsen is a 24/7 emergency hotline for foreigners and migrants in English, Arabic, Farsi/Dari and German. For telephone shifts in other languages see Helpline Dresden & Ostsachsen.

We support people in Dresden, the bordering districts of Meißen and Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge as well as the districts of Bautzen and Görlitz.

We help in emergencies by

... translating your request to the police and to other emergency services.

... putting you in touch with other counselling services.

The Helpline also provides information on everyday life problems via phone during daytime or via e-mail.

The Hepline documents calls anonymized.

The Helpline consists of three employees and roughly 40 active volunteers who have been trained for this type of work.
